    ZUKED NOT NUKED

2 zucchini found in back of fridge - miraculously perky after weeks of neglect

    California basil from Spice Hunter

    1/4 onion, diced

    2 cloves garlic, minced

2 T killer EV olive oil, from California, late harvest, very best quality you can muster

Saute onion, garlic in medium heat pan with oil. Add zukes and stir til pleasingly browned.

DUKKA CHIKKA CHIKKAS (curried dukka’ed chick peas)

1 can garbanzo beans, drained, rinsed

    Healthy dose of dukka

    Healthier dose of garam masala

Stir spices and beans together until liberally coated.

Put in pan in hot oven (400 works) until aroma overtakes room and you can’t stand it anymore. Or 30-40 minutes. Beans should be pleasingly firm, dry, and spices coating evenly.

    Eat hot or as leftovers.
